Book Club: Lady Tan's Circle of Women by Lisa See

The Fairview Library Book Club is a book discussion group that meets in person on the second Friday of each month at 11AM at the library and online via Zoom on the third Wednesday of each month at 7PM. We read a variety of genres. Newcomers are always welcome!

The September book is: Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See. Set in 15th-century China and inspired by a real woman physician, this novel tells the story of Tan Yunxian, who navigates rigid gender roles, family expectations, and medicine with strength and compassion. A story of sisterhood, resilience, and cultural tradition.
