You become the Storyteller!  At Puppet Playtime, transform our puppets into characters, and have fun inventing wild and wacky stories.

A fun and interactive story time designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years. 

Tech troubleshoot drop-ins will be held weekly at the Enka-Candler library from January 11th through April 29th. 

Local college students will work with you to solve your technology problems. 

What would it mean to approach death not as a medical emergency, but as a human experience? This session explores home-based dying, family vigils, green burial, and the many ways communities engage in end-of-life care with intention and care.

Stay as Puppet Playtime transforms into Toddler Storytime each Wednesday!  Move and dance, sing-along, play games, listen to stories, and make some new friends!  Our theme is constantly changing and is a fun surprise each week.

Play with other babies and meet other caregivers! Babies 4 months-18 months and their caregivers are welcome to come play in our Community Room. There will be mats and things to roll on, bounce on, and climb.

Enjoy a morning of play and socializing at the North Asheville Library on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am! Intended for babies in the 0-18 months range with their caregivers. A selection of toys will be provided.

An interactive story time for the whole family featuring books, rhymes, and songs in Spanish and English.

Join us as we share books, songs, rhymes, and activities designed for children ages 3 to 5 years.

Join Ms. Jen to sing songs, play with toys, be around other babies, and more fun stuff. 

This month the book club will be discussing Happy Land by Dolen Perkins-Valdez.

Books are available in regular and large print and at the circulation desk.

Tech Connect allows you to sit with a librarian who will work with you to solve a technology problem. From email to e-readers, smartphones to laptops, we are here for you!

Our friendly and welcoming Spanish conversation practice group is geared towards people with intermediate level Spanish skills who are looking for a supportive chance to practice and sharpen their skills.

Drop in for basic tech help with phones, laptops, tablets, Kindles, or apps. Partners from UNC Asheville and Land of Sky Regional Council and your friendly Fairview library staff will provide one-on-one support.
