The Enka Evening Book Club will be meeting in our community room the first Tuesday of the month from 6-7 PM.

The selection for April will be "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow and Tomorrow" by Gabrielle Zevin.

You become the Storyteller!  At Puppet Playtime, transform our puppets into characters, and have fun inventing wild and wacky stories.

Tech troubleshoot drop-ins will be held weekly at the Enka-Candler library from January 11th through April 29th. 

Local college students will work with you to solve your technology problems. 

Stay as Puppet Playtime transforms into Toddler Storytime each Wednesday!  Move and dance, sing-along, play games, listen to stories, and make some new friends!  Our theme is constantly changing and is a fun surprise each week.

Play with other babies and meet other caregivers! Babies 4 months-18 months and their caregivers are welcome to come play in our Community Room. There will be mats and things to roll on, bounce on, and climb.

Enjoy a morning of play and socializing at the North Asheville Library on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am! Intended for babies in the 0-18 months range with their caregivers. A selection of toys will be provided.

An interactive story time for the whole family featuring books, rhymes, and songs in Spanish and English.

The Pack Library Book Club is a book discussion group that meets the second Wednesday of each month at 10:30AM at the library. We read a variety of genres. The book for April 2026 is Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams.

Our VOICE & Helpmate social workers will be at the Enka Candler Library once a month for information and assistance regarding sexual violence, intimate partner domestic violence, and human trafficking.
