You become the Storyteller!  At Puppet Playtime, transform our puppets into characters, and have fun inventing wild and wacky stories.

To make an appointment for tax help at Pack Library, call 828-367-7231 and leave a message. An AARP volunteer will contact you to set up your appointment.

A fun and interactive story time designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years. 

Tech troubleshoot drop-ins will be held weekly at the Enka-Candler library from January 11th through April 29th. 

Local college students will work with you to solve your technology problems. 

Stay as Puppet Playtime transforms into Toddler Storytime each Wednesday!  Move and dance, sing-along, play games, listen to stories, and make some new friends!  Our theme is constantly changing and is a fun surprise each week.

Play with other babies and meet other caregivers! Babies 4 months-18 months and their caregivers are welcome to come play in our Community Room. There will be mats and things to roll on, bounce on, and climb.

Enjoy a morning of play and socializing at the North Asheville Library on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am! Intended for babies in the 0-18 months range with their caregivers. A selection of toys will be provided.

An interactive story time for the whole family featuring books, rhymes, and songs in Spanish and English.

Join us as we share books, songs, rhymes, and activities designed for children ages 3 to 5 years.

Join Ms. Brandon at the West Asheville Library for a fun Yoga class for children ages 1-3 & their caregivers. A fun combination of movement, songs, and stories along with yoga poses and learning breath techniques--good for everyone! 

Are you over 70? Are you interested in meeting peers to share what you are reading and discovering?

How are you enriching your "senior" years, your "third or fourth chapter", your "Elderhood"?

The Enka History Book Club reads historical fiction and non-fiction on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.

The selection for April will be Happy Land by Dolen Perkins-Valdez.

Join us for a lively language enrichment story time designed for children ages 4 to 18 months.

Join us for an educational program with the North Carolina Arboretum to learn all about the many different plants that call Western North Carolina their home! Ever wondered why some trees lose their leaves in the Winter and others don't?

Join us for this free, educational and fun guided hand drum session. No drumming experience is needed. This one hour workshop will establish and reinforce the foundations of rhythm and experiment with various concepts from there.  

Come learn to play the ukulele with the Asheville Ukulele Society. Lessons are free, but space is limited. To register, sign up at the library front desk or call 828-250-4738.
