Quilters of all ages welcome! Bring your own sewing machine and project or work on a community project. Snacks not provided, but we encourage you to bring a bag lunch. Drop in any time to participate.

Summer Stories: A Reading & Screening Series

Are you a gardener without a plot? Or maybe you want to meet up with like-minded folks and see what grows? If so, this is the club for you. Pack Memorial library has a gardening plot in the Elder and Sage gardens that needs ongoing care.

Make a beautiful glowing lantern and collage refrigerator magnets out of recycled materials like plastic jugs and old magazines. Open to ages 5 and up.

In July 1916 WNC communities suffered through one of the worst floods in our region’s recorded history. One way residents processed and remembered the disaster was through music.

We need to protect the night sky if we are to conserve biodiversity in our natural world. This presentation, by Joey Bishop, will focus on the negative effects of light pollution on amphibians, birds, mammals and insects.

Our friendly and welcoming Spanish conversation practice group is geared towards people with Intermediate level Spanish skills who are looking for a supportive chance to practice and sharpen their skills.

Join us outside during Groovin' on Grovemont for a wonderful woven bracelet craft! This craft uses simple supplies, and kids will be able to take the cardboard loom home to continue weaving!

In 2016, filmmaker David Weintraub premiered Come Hell or High Water to commemorate the centennial of the Great Flood of 1916.

Years later, the WNC community finds itself in a similar position to those affected by the 1916 disaster.
