DESCRIPTION:If you're feeling paralyzed by perfection in your creati
ve life, you are not alone! So many writers struggle to write freely and
end up feeling what they write is not good enough to show the world. Writi
ng From the Top of Your Head is a workshop designed to help you let go of
the pressure to tell stories in the "right" way and find real jo
y in the creative process. It is for writers of all levels who want to gen
erate fresh material, feel stuck, or who experience fear and vulnerability
in the writing process. Unlike traditional workshops that focus on produc
t and critique, this workshop helps you play with ideas and reconnect with
a childlike wonder for the written word. Participants should bring a note
book and writing utensil. I hope you join us and workshop leader Hannah Ro
th! About Hannah RothHannah Roth is a writer and educator who grew up on
a Hazelnut farm in Oregon. She moved to Asheville in 2022 and lives happil
y with her partner and her dog.
