Book Club: My Friends by Fredrik Backman

The Fairview Library Book Club is a book discussion group that meets in person on the second Friday of each month at 11AM at the library and online via Zoom on the third Wednesday of each month at 7PM. We read a variety of genres.

The May book is My Friends by Fredrik Backman. In this heartfelt novel, Backman explores the quiet, often unspoken bonds between men through the voice of a man trying to navigate grief and connection. It’s poignant, wise, and infused with his signature compassion and humor.
