Reading to a dog can help young readers build skills, confidence, and enjoyment in reading! We recommend that participants register in advance for a 15-minute session, and parent/legal guardian must sign a waiver.

Enjoy this special sneak preview of Asheville Community Theatre's "Frozen Jr.". This will be an opportunity to hear from the actors and director, and to hear some of the songs from the musical. Register in advance to guarantee a seat.

Every Wednesday morning, we open up the children's programming room to give kids and families time for free play with our stash of puppets. Children must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Our VOICE & Helpmate social workers will be at the Enka Candler Library once a month for information and assistance regarding sexual violence, intimate partner domestic violence, and human trafficking. 

This month we're discussing Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult.
