Join us for a lively language enrichment story time designed for children ages 4 to 18 months.

Drop in and play with other babies. Crawl through tunnels, play in ball pits, and enjoy other sensory toys. Caregivers must stay in the room. Ages 4-18 months. 

During your Tech Time appointment you can recieve one-on-one help from library staff. To the best of our ability we will help you solve a tech related problem or accomplish a specific task.

This is the first in a 2-part film series honoring African American History Month. Enjoy this award-winning film on the big screen at Pack Library. Light refreshments will be provided.

Looking to step out of your shell and put your theater skills to the test? Join theater teacher Chris Martin for some fun improv games and activities. For ages 8-12.

Reading to a dog can help young readers build skills, confidence, and enjoyment in reading! We recommend that participants register in advance for a 15-minute session, and parent/legal guardian must sign a waiver.

Our friendly and welcoming Spanish conversation practice group is geared towards people with intermediate level Spanish skills who are looking for a supportive chance to practice and sharpen their skills.

Enjoy this special sneak preview of Asheville Community Theatre's "Mean Girls: High School Edition". This will be an opportunity to hear from the actors and director, and to hear some of the songs from the musical.

You become the Storyteller!  At Puppet Playtime, transform our puppets into characters, and have fun inventing wild and wacky stories.

Tech troubleshoot drop-ins will be held weekly at the Enka-Candler library from January 11th through April 29th. 

Local college students will work with you to solve your technology problems. 

Stay as Puppet Playtime transforms into Toddler Storytime each Wednesday!  Move and dance, sing-along, play games, listen to stories, and make some new friends!  Our theme is constantly changing and is a fun surprise each week.

Play with other babies and meet other caregivers! Babies 4 months-18 months and their caregivers are welcome to come play in our Community Room. There will be mats and things to roll on, bounce on, and climb.

The Pack Library Book Club is a book discussion group that meets the second Wednesday of each month at 10:30AM at the library. We read a variety of genres. The book for February 2026 is Master Slave Husband Wife by Ilyon Woo.
