The Friends of Buncombe County Special Collections and BCSC staff will offer brief updates about our community memory project in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, “Come Hell or High Water."
All project volunteers are invited to meet again face-to-face and share a short update on progress towards oral history interviews, historical research, outreach efforts, and administrative/technical management of the Come Hell or High Water digital memory bank (helenehistory.omeka.net).
After the update, the Friends of BCSC will leave the library to socialize downtown. We hope to see you there!
