Drawing Barns in Pen and Ink with James Cassara

This event requires registration. 

The barns of NC hold many stories and serve as wonderful artifacts of our rich history. They're also a lot of fun to draw!  In this two hour session we'll learn some basic perspective, how to compose a setting that compliments the structure, as well as rendering the finished product in pen and ink. 

The best results are found when the artist has a connection to the subject; in that spirit it's strongly recommended that you find a barn that speaks to you.  Participants are asked to identify and photograph a barn (more than one is even better!) and print them out in black and white. If you don't have access to a printer you can email a jpg. to me at JJCassara@gmail.com and I will gladly print it out for you.  

If you're unable to provide a photo, don't fret!  I'll have extras for you to work from.  The goal is to ensure your success while having fun.
