Program Description

Event Details

Animal biodiversity, interrelationships and needs are explored through hands-on activities and a live animal demonstration. Attendees will learn about the types of wildlife found in the forests of Western North Carolina and the clues they leave behind. Young field biologists will grab a pair of binoculars to search for the birds, mammals and other animals that call our mountains home.

Our partners at the NC Arboretum are going to do their best to bring at least one of their animal ambassadors to this fun program for school-age kids and their families!

Be aware that parking is limited, so if you are interested, you might want to arrive early just to grab a parking spot.
