One Book, One Buncombe program Flower Crowns With Flying Cloud Farm

Join us for a hands-on workshop with Flying Cloud Farm and learn the art of making beautiful flower crowns. Participants will be guided step-by-step through the process and will create their own custom crown to take home. All supplies are provided, just bring your creativity!

Celebrate the beauty and meaning of flowers inspired by our One Book, One Buncombe selection, Happy Land. In the novel, the character of Mother Rita is a gifted flower arranger, using blooms to express care, memory, and connection, an art form that carries deep personal and cultural significance. We’ll take a cue from both her craft and the novel’s lush, floral cover as we learn the basics of floral design and create our own wearable crowns.
