Paper Piecing- a Hand Quilting Method Workshop

Before there were sewing machines, people were practicing hand quilting methods using reusable pieces of shaped paper. In this method, the English Paper Piecing method, you will learn how to make a hexagon-tiled quilt top (as large or as small as you like!). Students will be provided with all fabric, needles, thread, and paper pieces they need to create a 7-hexagon sample, but you’ll be able to keep going at home if you like. This workshop is geared for teens and adults and requires registration.
