Event Details

Enjoy the beautiful acoustic sounds of flute and harp as PAN HARMONIA musicians Kate Steinbeck and Jessica Schaeffer share music from near and far. They will look back 100 years, exploring the musical milieus of the 1920s with works by Florence Price, a trail-blazing African-American female composer, plus George Gershwin, sounds of Scotland and even salsa!

PAN HARMONIA is an award-winning chamber music company in Asheville, nationally recognized for its artistic excellence and creative vision, and for sharing its music around the region through its Shining Light Project, admission-free programs advocating music’s enlightening and healing power and transcending boundaries of access.

Now in its 26th season, PAN HARMONIA’s repertoire ranges from iconic masterpieces to beautiful new works, spanning the world from the Renaissance to the Now. Despite a pandemic and Hurricane Helene, this resilient company has persisted in making and sharing its beautiful music!
