Hurricane Helene: One Year Check-In

It's hard to believe it has been a whole year since Helene hit our region. Do you perceive that you are more resilient since then? Do have ideas or hopes for how we might continue to strengthen ourselves and our community? Perhaps you would just like to share your reflections and connect with others.

In this recurring series,  we will think and talk together about how we are experiencing climate events, biodiversity loss and other ecological changes that can create disruptions and hazards to our individual and collective health and safety.  Each Leicester Community Resilience Conversations event will feature a suggested topic for us to focus upon.

Through these conversations, we hope to foster community resilience and promote personal well being. We will do this by supporting and honoring the parts of ourselves that make us human, and by observing and making connections between our inner lives, the subjective experience of others, the community at large and the environment on which we live and depend. These conversations will be structured so as to be respectful and supportive.

Light snacks will be provided. All are welcome and registration is NOT required.
