Better late than never! We've rescheduled the MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival so Asheville residents can join other film lovers who united in over 500 venues worldwide to view and judge the work of the next generation of filmmakers from around the world. MANHATTAN SHORT is the only film festival of its kind. Attendees at the Pack Library's screening will vote for Best Film and Best Actor awards, and the winning selections will be announced in the library and on our social media channels. Every short film selected for MANHATTAN SHORT is automatically qualified for the Oscars of 2025.
*Please note:
- This is a free event, but registration is required and will be limited. There will be NO paper tickets this year.
- Please pay close attention in the registration process if you are registering for more than one individual. To register additional people, note the "Number Attending" and "Attendee Information" fields and complete the step about "signing up someone other than yourself".

- Light refreshments will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own outside food to this event; it must be consumed within the auditorium only.
- Films are appropriate for ages 14 and up.
