Name Change and Gender Marker Correction Clinic

Join the Pauli Murray LGBTQ+ Bar Association in partnership with Legal Aid of North Carolina for support navigating the process for legal name changes and/or gender marker corrections in North Carolina.

During the clinic, volunteer attorneys, law students, and professionals will be providing you with legal information about the name change and/or gender marker correction process in North Carolina, help with putting together a plan for you to file for your own name change, and assistance with filling out the forms, if desired. 

Advance registration required as space is limited. Appoints will last approximately 1 hour and will be offered every hour starting at 10:30am, with the last appointments beginning at 3:30pm.
