Annie Woodford is the winner of the 2022 Weatherford Award for Best Books About Appalachia and the author of When God was a Child (Bull City Press, 2023) and Where You Come From is Gone (Mercer University Press, 2022).

 

Cheryl Whitehead is the author of Distant Relations (Loblolly Press, 2024) and So Ghosts Might Stop Composing (Finishing Line Press, 2019).
