You become the Storyteller!  At Puppet Playtime, transform our puppets into characters, and have fun inventing wild and wacky stories.

Stay as Puppet Playtime transforms into Toddler Storytime each Wednesday!  Move and dance, sing-along, play games, listen to stories, and make some new friends!  Our theme is constantly changing and is a fun surprise each week.

Play with other babies and meet other caregivers! Babies 4 months-18 months and their caregivers are welcome to come play in our Community Room. There will be mats and things to roll on, bounce on, and climb.

Enjoy a morning of play and socializing at the North Asheville Library on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am! Intended for babies in the 0-18 months range with their caregivers. A selection of toys will be provided.

Join us as we share books, songs, rhymes, and activities designed for children ages 3 to 5 years.

Join us for a lively language enrichment story time designed for children ages 4 to 18 months.

Join us for this free, educational and fun guided hand drum session. No drumming experience is needed. This one hour workshop will establish and reinforce the foundations of rhythm and experiment with various concepts from there.  

Families are welcome to come to the Skyland/South Buncombe Library for a sing-along version of "Frozen." Popcorn and water will be provided! Snacks and seats are on a first-come, first-served basis! Costumes encouraged, but not required!

Space for this program is limited. Registration is required for individual sessions and dates. Please stop by the Weaverville Library or call (828) 250-6482 to reserve your space.

Use the library's 2.25" button maker to make cool pinback buttons! You can bring your own images from home, draw a design at the event, or cut out pictures from used books (provided). Each attendee can make up to three buttons to take home.

Join us for free-form LEGO building on the second and fourth Thursday afternoons of each month, at 3:30pm!  All ages 5 and up are welcome, but anyone under 10 years old will need to be accompanied by a caregiver.

Enjoy books, songs, and movement activities with Sadie from 10:30-11am. Appropriate for 18 months to 3 years old. Kids and caregivers can stay to play and socialize afterward until 11:30am!

Join us every Friday between 3-4:30 pm for a casual gathering of expectant and new parents/caregivers of babies 0-18 months.

Join us on the first Friday of each month to build your own creation at LEGO Club!

Come join local author and certified yoga instructor, Nora Carpenter, for yoga, a craft, and her children's book Yoga Frog. 

An interactive story time for the whole family featuring books, rhymes, and songs in Spanish and English.
