Event Details
Are you over 70? Are you interested in meeting peers to share what you are reading and discovering?
How are you enriching your "senior" years, your "third or fourth chapter", your "Elderhood"?
Join this guided group, facilitated by Ilsa Myers, to discuss topics related to this rich time of life and how to live it to the fullest.
The group will meet the third Wednesday of the month in February, March and April to determine interest and themes.
Registration is not required, and anyone 70 years or older is welcome to attend.
Let's grow this winter, as we grow older together.
About the facilitator: Ilsa's lifelong study of aging began in graduate school. In her thirties, she taught classes on elder services at a community college. In her forties she was a Recreation Director in an Adult Day Care, and in her fifties she was the Program Director in a Continuing Care Lifecare Community. The position she retired from was Volunteer Coordinator in hospice, after having trained over 200 volunteers who shared "the calling."
