Fall is here, a time of year that just screams color.  The changing leaves around us demonstrate the radiance of the season.

If you're a beginner or someone who has dabbled in watercolor and is ready to "take it up a notch", this class is for you.  We'll look at the intricacies and pitfalls of this most challenging but rewarding medium; how to gauge your color values, create the textures you want, create an inviting composition, and keep your watercolors under control.

With over 40 years of art teaching experience James Cassara doesn't claim to be a master watercolorist, but he'll gladly share what he does know in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere.

Weather permitting we'll begin outside, sketching our surroundings and deciding on our composition.  From there we'll move indoors, learn a bit about materials, and put brush to paper.  It'll be fast paced, informative, and (most importantly) fun!

This class is for adults and registration is required.  Materials will be provided.
