Event Details

Throughout the month of November Buncombe County Special Collections will host an engaging exhibition about all things Jazz Age Asheville. 

The "Land of the Sky" was booming— home to a vibrant arts and culture scene, real estate was soaring, tourists flocked to the region, and industry was on the rise. 

Carolina Record Shop Curator in Residence Brody Hunt ads a special touch to the exhibition, highlighting the centennial of the historic Asheville recording sessions of 1925.

The exhibit is located on the main level of Pack Memorial Library and continues in the Buncombe County Special Collections Reading Room.
