Join local artist Tim Ballard and Librarian Kate for a creative and interactive mini-comic class!
Tim is a visual storyteller and graphic novel artist based in Western North Carolina. This program will be a demonstration of how to build a mini-comic with guidance and prompts from Tim.
The process of creating a mini-comic will include making the blank book out of paper, writing a story line, drawing dynamic artwork, and sharing ideas with other young artists. Participants will leave with their own original mini-comic and the skills to keep creating more.
