Learn how to start seeds indoors and care for young plants until they’re ready for your garden.

Join us on the first and third Saturday of each month! Build unique LEGO architecture and display your own LEGO creations at the library. *Please leave your personal LEGOs at home, we have plenty!

Books, rhymes, songs and activities designed for the whole family. Stay afterward to socialize and play with the large building blocks and other toys. Baby sensory toys are also available.

Are you brave enough to join Enka-Candler Library's New Monthly Teen Dungeons & Dragons Club? Adventures will take place on one Saturday per month from 2:30-4:30 in our Community Room. Players should be between the ages of 12-18.

Bring your needles or your hooks and join us for some friendly company as you work on your current project.  No registration necessary; just come by the Skyland Library community room with a love of yarn!

Join us for a lively language enrichment story time designed for children ages 4 to 18 months.

Drop in and play with other babies. Crawl through tunnels, play in ball pits, and enjoy other sensory toys. Caregivers must stay in the room. Ages 4-18 months. 

During your Tech Time appointment you can recieve one-on-one help from library staff. To the best of our ability we will help you solve a tech related problem or accomplish a specific task.

Join us for this educational and fun guided drum session. This class is super fun, and no drumming experience is needed.

Looking to step out of your shell and put your theater skills to the test? Join theater teacher Chris Martin for some fun improv games and activities. For ages 8-12.

Join us for a fun and interactive story time designed for children 18 months to 3 years.

Join us at the Buncombe County Sports Park by the pavilion to begin our walk. 

No registration is required, and there is no topic book, we will be discussing all our favorite books!

Join Ms. Brandon at the North Asheville Library for a fun yoga class for children ages 1 to 3 and their caregivers. A fun combination of movement, songs, and games along with yoga poses and learning breathing techniques. Good for everyone!

Join us for ACBL-sanctioned contract bridge games every Tuesday at the library!

All games are free to the public -- no registration or memberships necessary.

Quilters of all ages welcome! Bring your own sewing machine and project or work on a community project. Snacks not provided, but we encourage you to bring a bag lunch. Drop in any time to participate.
