This is a low-key community crafting circle, where we listen to an audio short story while we work. All quiet crafts are welcome!

This month we're listening to the first few chapters of our selection for One Book, One Buncombe: Happy Land by Dolen Perkins-Valdez. 

One Book, One Buncombe is a county wide initiative to create a shared reading experience. Happy Land takes place here in Western North Carolina, in a real historical place known as The Kingdom of the Happy Land - a community of free Black people post-Civil War.
