During your Tech Time appointment you can recieve one-on-one help from library staff. To the best of our ability we will help you solve a tech related problem or accomplish a specific task.

Need help with your job search? NCWorks staff will be on hand to provide free, first-come, first-served assistance.

If you can sew on a machine, hand sew, crochet or knit, stuff a pillow or iron come join our makers group! Sewers, knitters, and menders are welcome to join us.

Tai Chi For Arthritis and Fall Prevention

In collaboration with the YMCA the Enka-Candler will be hosting a Gentle Yoga and Guided Meditation Series this fall.

All are welcome, from novices to advanced practitioners.  

Spend an afternoon discovering the textures and shapes of gathered leaves and printing with them on a variety of fabric and paper items. We will use screen printing ink on muslin pieces, cotton tea towels, and blank cards.

Turning the Page on Helene is a community-based art project that is using the transformative power of altered books to tell our communities’ stories of Hurricane Helene through the visual arts.

Come make a faux stained glass "window" of your very own. We will provide the materials (picture frame, markers, and aluminum foil) and the instructions. This program is for all ages, kids and adults.

The Fairview Library Book Club is a book discussion group that meets in person on the second Friday of each month at 11AM at the library and online via Zoom on the third Wednesday of each month at 7PM. We read a variety of genres.
