Quilters of all ages welcome! Bring your own sewing machine and project or work on a community project. Snacks not provided, but we encourage you to bring a bag lunch. Drop in any time to participate.

During your Tech Time appointment you can recieve one-on-one help from library staff. To the best of our ability we will help you solve a tech related problem or accomplish a specific task.

Our friendly and welcoming Spanish conversation practice group is geared towards people with intermediate level Spanish skills who are looking for a supportive chance to practice and sharpen their skills.

In collaboration with the YMCA the Enka-Candler will be hosting a Gentle Yoga and Guided Meditation Series this fall.

All are welcome, from novices to advanced practitioners.

The North Asheville Book Club meets in-person on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.

The Enka History Book Club reads historical fiction and non-fiction on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.

The selection for November will be "Mistress of the Art of Death" by Ariana Franklin.

This month the book club will be discussing While Justice Sleeps by Stacey Abrams.

Books are available in large print, regular print, and audio at the circulation desk.

Resin is a plastic-like material that can be poured into a mold then cured. This allows the artist (you!) to encase various materials inside of the resin, creating custom pendants.

Learn to make a woven potholder using a loom and cotton loops. All supplies are provided and attendance is free. Open to all ages (best for 8 and up). Space is limited; first-come first-served.

The Fairview Library Book Club is a book discussion group that meets in person on the second Friday of each month at 11AM at the library and online via Zoom on the third Wednesday of each month at 7PM. We read a variety of genres.
