Quilters of all ages welcome! Bring your own sewing machine and project or work on a community project. Snacks not provided, but we encourage you to bring a bag lunch. Drop in any time to participate.

Every Wednesday morning, we open up the children's programming room to give kids and families time for free play with our stash of puppets. Children must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

While our Youth Services Librarian is out on leave from October-December, we will offer a weekly Toddler Playtime in the Community Room from 10:30-11:30am on Fridays (no Storytime, sorry!). Children and caregivers can play and socialize.

Join us for StarryTime at Enka-Candler Library! We are inviting the best and brightest educators in the community share their talents by guest-starring as story time hosts. This program is designed for families with children of all ages.

Drop in and play with other babies. Crawl through tunnels, play in ball pits, and enjoy other sensory toys. Caregivers must stay in the room. Ages 4-18 months.

The Enka History Book Club reads historical fiction and non-fiction on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. For January, the group will be reading and discussing "Absolution" by Alice McDermott.

In the spirit of fostering processing and healing during these post-Helene times, ACA is proud to present a delightful table-top puppet show featuring themes of resilience, friendship, and community.

Enjoy a live robot demonstration by Limelight Robotics and Asheville School's Blue Shift Robotics teams followed by circuitry activities, including making a paper LED robot and hydraulic arm challenges.
