Join us for stories and fun every Saturday morning! Get ready to dance and sing as well as listen to stories with an accompanying craft happening the second half of Story Time!  All ages are welcome.

Bring your needles or your hooks and join us for some friendly company as you work on your current project.  No registration necessary; just come by the Skyland Library community room with a love of yarn!

Learn to make cool tissue paper flowers! This craft requires the use of scissors, so it is best for older kids (younger children can participate with significant caregiver assistance). 

Quilters of all ages welcome! Bring your own sewing machine and project or work on a community project. Snacks not provided, but we encourage you to bring a bag lunch. Drop in any time to participate.

Play, Build, Create! Join us for Play-Doh Club at Enka-Candler Library on the third Wednesday of each month, right after Hora del Cuento=Bilingual Story Time. All Play-Doh and tools are provided. Perfect for ages 3 and up.

Make a dogwood blossom painting, an upcycled animal planter, floral print clay creations, or a bunny rope coaster.

The theme for Earth Day 2025 is our power, our planet. Knowledge is power so we'll start this event with a screening of the Plastic People, a documentary that investigates the lasting effects of plastic on our bodies and world.

Set aside some special adult time to explore your creative side in an informal, positive, and relaxed gathering at Fairview Public Library. No experience required.

Celebrate your favorite trees by making leaf prints on paper.

Come learn a bit about Cubism, an art movement popularized by Spanish artist, Pablo Picasso. Then, using markers participants will create their own meaningful self-portrait that looks everything but realistic.
