Quilters of all ages welcome! Bring your own sewing machine and project or work on a community project. Snacks not provided, but we encourage you to bring a bag lunch. Drop in any time to participate.

Every Wednesday morning, we open up the children's programming room to give kids and families time for free play with our stash of puppets. Children must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Our VOICE & Helpmate social workers will be at the Enka Candler Library once a month for information and assistance regarding sexual violence, intimate partner domestic violence, and human trafficking.

The Asheville Dulcimer Orchestra presents its free Spring Concert at the Enka-Candler Library.

The concert will be held on Saturday, May 17th from 3:00-4:30 PM in the Enka-Candler Library Community Room.

The Leicester Library is excited to offer a 10 week Tai Chi for Beginners Series taught by Patricia P. Gilliam, PhD, ANP-BC,  a Board-Certified Tai Chi For Health Instructor and Nurse Practitioner. 

Join us for an educational program with the North Carolina Arboretum to learn all about the many different Herptiles that call Western North Carolina their home! What's a Herptile you ask? Herptiles are reptiles and amphibians!

Join us for this educational and fun guided drum session. This class is super fun and no drumming experience is needed. In this hour long session we will establish the foundations of rhythm and experiment with various concepts from there.
