Week Calendar

Since its publication The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron has been used by all types of artists to reconnect with their creativity and become inspired and productive.

Join us for stories and fun every Saturday morning, and make some new friends along the way!  Our theme is constantly changing and is a fun surprise each week.

Join us as we share books, songs, rhymes, and activities designed for children ages 3 to 5 years.

The Little Gym will provide a storytime, craft, and movement activities for all ages at the Skyland/South Buncombe Library! Come be part of the fun! 

If you can sew on a machine, hand sew, crochet or knit, stuff a pillow or iron come join our makers group! Sewers, knitters, and menders are welcome to join us.

Repurpose trash into treasure!

Make bird feeders, jewelry, organizers, and more!

Materials provided. All ages welcome.

Please donate the following by March 17th: 

Decorate a glass flower pot using paint and recycled materials. This program is a drop in event for all ages. Instructions and materials will be supplied. Parents will need to stay with children. Registration is not necessary.

As we try to reach 1,000 cranes at the Swannanoa Library, come learn how to make origami cranes and practice your skills!

Use the library's 2.25" button maker to make cool pinback buttons! You can bring your own images from home, draw a design at the event, or cut out pictures from used books (provided). Each attendee can make up to three buttons to take home.

Bring your needles or your hooks and join us for some friendly company as you work on your current project.  No registration necessary; just come by the Skyland Library community room with a love of yarn!
