Join us for a fun and interactive story time designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years. 

Every Wednesday morning, we open up the children's activity room to give kids time for free play with puppets. Children must be under the supervision or a parent or guardian.

The Pack Library Book Club is a book discussion group that meets the second Wednesday of each month at 10:30AM  at the library. We read a variety of genres. The book for October 2024 is "The Girl With the Louding Voice" by Abi Dare

While our Youth Services Librarian is out on leave from October-December, we will offer a weekly Toddler Playtime in the Community Room from 10:30-11:30am on Fridays (no Storytime, sorry!). Children and caregivers can play and socialize.

This 6-week class will be the second half of the  introduction to Basic Tai Chi Principles using the Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention Level I form t

Drop in and play. Ball pit, toys, soft slide and structure to climb on and through. For ages 4 to 18 months.

An Our VOICE social worker will be at the Enka Library once a month for information and assistance. This session will be provided to inform community members about sexual assault and human trafficking resources that Our VOICE provides.

Meet local authors and illustrators at the third annual Write Local, Read Local Fair! Authors will be selling and signing copies of their work throughout the library and author readings will occur during the afternoon.

This month we're discussing The Bandit Queens by Parini Shroff.  The Leicester Library Book Discussion Group meets the second Tuesday of each month at 1 pm in the Community Room at the library. Newcomers welcome!

The TBR (To-Be-Read) Book Club meets every month at the Black Mountain Public Library. Call or email the library for this month's selection.

Ashley English has authored 11 cookbooks on many topics. She'll lead us through hands-on preparations for her favorite holiday recipes and gifts.

The November 13 event will be recipes for warm drinks this season.
